^_^ I'm glad to see people interested in the contest. Well, here's the basic plot so far. But, remember, it's subject to change. I'll let you know once the final idea is finished.

The story is called "The Great Collision". The writer doesn't want me to mention her name. It follows a girl named Erin, 13, and the last five hours on Earth. After five hours, the sun will collide with the Earth, destroying everything and all its inhabitants. All the adults, and infants were taken away from Earth in rockets, but children and elders were left behind. Erin, is one of those people. So basically, it follows her around. Whether or not she becomes a hero, or the earth perishes, or otherwise, is entirely up to you. The whole explanation and intro is pre-written, so it shouldn't be too hard to get a hang of the type of writing style.

I have to admit, it's a pretty good story, though sort of sad. Well, that is, if it ends badly. But you'll figure out her character pretty easily. She uses a lot of slang when she talks, but you don't have to keep the whole story in first person. It's probably easier to switch to third person. It's a lot of fun and people can see what you're capable of.

Hopefully this'll help you come up with some ideas until I put it up. It can be as long or as short as you want. Once it's finished, I'll put it up ASAP.
